Alternatively bring your tent or caravan and enjoy the great outdoors at any number of peaceful camping locations along the river or in the Benwell and Gutterum forests upstream.  The twin border towns of Barham / Koondrook are located 25 kilometres east of Murrabit.  Koondrook offers a well appointed caravan park with on-site vans and cabins set on the banks of the picturesque Gunbower Creek and a modern motel on the Murray River.  Barham has a range of accommodation available.
